English is not my first language. I get I make grammar mistakes and I can miss some words here and there as I write. Sometimes it’s noticeable, sometimes it’s not. I’m okay with telling me little things but when you go in full detail, I will have that sudden urge to freaking beat the living crap of you. Let me give you a WONDERFUL example. 

HER: “Ahaha ok ^_^;; then i’m pretty sure you misspelled “volume” in the beginning because i don’t know what a “colume” is… and you did it twice which makes me doubt myself if colume is a real word XD XD”

MY ANSWER: Oh oopsies! I do that sometimes because the c is next to the v. 

IN MY HEAD: Yes I get it. I made a stupid mistake. It happens when the freaking C is next to the V. 

HER: And may i ask a question? I hope you don’t find this rude, but is English your first language?

MY ANSWER: English isn’t my first language but i’ve been the US for 10 years now. so when i write or speak you can tell that English isn’t my first… is it very noticeable?

IN MY HEAD: You are a dick. Why the hell would you ask that if you know it might sound rude. I can deal with I guess if you stfu and never talk to me again. 

HER: “Ohh okay. It’s not TOO noticeable. I mean, I can tell because I read a lot so I’m used to the English language. Occasionally, you’ll miss a necessary word or you’ll structure your sentence awkwardly, but I can still understand the idea that you try to convey. Your English is very good for it not being your first language though. I just notice little grammar mistakes more than the average person XD”

MY ANSWER: ohhh i found myself a grammar nazi?? it’s okay to fix me though bc if no one fixes me, i will never know. i’m surprised my friends don’t really say anything >.<

IN MY HEAD: woohooo my English is bad because apparently you are such a GREAT reader with PERFECT grammar. Oh look at me, I’m a grammar nazi trying to be nice and tell me everything that I do wrong. Bitch. 

HER: “Lol yeeaah I’m a grammar nazi. Your friends are probably just trying to be nice. I have a friend whose English isn’t that great but I tend to not correct her because I feel bad. I guess I should though. I just don’t want to hurt her feelings, you know?”

MY ANSWER: i dont think my friends are being nice to me bc they play pretty harsh jokes and tricks on me sometimes. maybe i speak better English than i write since i talk to them more. plus i fix their grammar. heehee

IN MY HEAD: Way to admit that you are a grammar nazi… that just made my life so much better. I’m not going to tell you to go tell your friend every grammar mistake she makes because then I’m putting someone in hell like I am right now. So let me be the one in hell and the other in heaven speaking bad English in front of you. Plus that will put you in pain anyways. 

She ruined my three day weekend. If she tells me to fix something in my writing one more time, I’m going to slap her or something (that is if I can find a way to do that…) 

Personally, I can be a grammar nazi but with only simple things like “yesterday night” or “today morning” because I had to fix that myself so when I heard people say it, I had to fix it so that I don’t get into that habit again. But she is annoying me. There’s worse things but I’m too lazy to go look for them. Wait until the day I can seriously tell her to STFU. 

well there goes my post in like freaking ten thousand mothns. (Oh look i spelled month wrong, I should go ask her how to fix that.)
